Sweet Kraving was founded in 2019 by Alycia Johnson, a graduate of Vandebilt Catholic High School in Houma, Louisiana, and a passionate serial entrepreneur with experience in retail, e-commerce, bakery, real estate, and hospitality. Alycia’s love for traveling and exploring famous food destinations across the country inspired the vision behind Sweet Kraving — bringing exciting, fresh breakfast favorites to her own community in a unique way.

What started as the first donut delivery company in the Tri-Parish area quickly gained attention for delivering warm, fresh donuts directly to customers’ doors. The overwhelming support from the community led Sweet Kraving to join the Chamber of Commerce and receive local media recognition. After Hurricane Ida temporarily paused operations, Alycia used the opportunity to completely revamp and expand the business into something even bigger.

Today, Sweet Kraving has evolved into one of the region’s most innovative mobile food brands. The company expanded from donut delivery into a full food trailer operation serving fresh beignets, coffee, lemonade, donuts at industrial plants and workforce locations while also operating at Nicholls State University events, campus activities, and athletic tailgates. The business has continued expanding into tourist locations and high- traffic community events, creating multiple revenue streams and increasing brand visibility across the region. 

Known for constantly innovating, Alycia introduced one of the area’s first fresh donuts and iced coffee vending machine concepts, allowing customers to enjoy Sweet Kraving products conveniently on campus. The company is now launching its newest concept — the Sweet Kraving Beignet Cart — designed for schools, arenas, weddings, corporate events, and high-volume mobile service opportunities.

In 2026, Alycia Johnson was recognized as an SBA Entrepreneurial Success Award Recipient for her creativity, resilience, and rapid business growth. Her journey from a small donut delivery startup to a multi-concept mobile food business reflects her dedication to innovation, community impact, and creating memorable customer experiences.
